There is no substitute for painting from life.
This workshop will focus on the elements of art that can be best learned on location.
Demonstrations and in-depth instruction will improve your observation skills and
your ability to get valuable information onto your canvas in an organized, well designed
and efficient way. This enjoyable workshop will be held for 3 full days in the Salt
Lake City area of Utah. Meeting location will be specified shortly. Join us for a
weekend of valuable painting instruction, spring weather and breath-taking vistas.
Class format will include:
• lectures
• variety of subject matter
• painting demonstrations
• learn how to observe without bias
• art critique sessions
Class open to all levels, however, some painting experience will be helpful.
Fee: $250 (does not include art
materials, food or lodging)
Class enrollment will be limited to ensure personal instruction.
