"From Plein Air to Masterpiece"

I am very excited to host a 3-day workshop which will focus on the nuts and bolts of creating a studio painting from plein air sketches and photographs. In the studio we can take the time nessesary to compose and create a masterpiece with the information we have collected in the field. We will study composition, design, value, color and edges. I will demonstrate daily as well as show examples of other artists work to emphasize the topics we will cover.

All skill levels are welcome since the elements of good art apply to all artists.

The workshop will take place May 6th, 7th and 8th in Salt Lake City, Utah in the studio of artist, Candy Rideout.
