~ FROM NAUVOO TO THE RIGHT PLACE ~

In 1846 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints started a migration from
Nauvoo, Illinois to the valleys of the Western United States in order to find religious freedom.

The exhibition “From Nauvoo To The Right Place” captures the everyday life of these pioneers
as they prepared and then made their way West.

This exhibition of original oil paintings by Utah artist David Koch will be held April 5th and 6th, 2002
at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, 15 East South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah. The show is free and open to the public.
